A 2023 Information Technology graduate at Virginia Tech and proud U.S. Navy veteran,
Shae embodies the dual roles of a junior full-stack developer and artist. Her journey in
creativity began early, she loved to draw, to build, and deconstruct things so she could
understand how they worked. Her creativity evolved into Graphic and Industrial Design, where
she explored new mediums and cultivated her love for the arts.
Enlisting in the Navy introduced Shae to a new love – technology. Today, her creativity finds
expression in web design and software development. Shaping her skills through the
radical development and innovation of computer technology, she hopes to utilize her broad
educational background, excellent analytical abilities, and technical prowess to thrive as a
software engineer.
Driven by a passion for both life and work, Shae feels she will always be on a learning
journey, and hopes that evolution never ends. When she disconnects from the world of technology,
she reconnects with her artistic side.
Currently seeking opportunities as an Entry-level Software Developer, Shae is eager to explore
